New Forestry Mechanisation (NFM) publishes original scientific papers, review papers, preliminary communications, and professional papers. Only original manuscripts that were not previously published elsewhere and that are not under consideration by another journal are considered for publication.
NFM publishes one issue annually, in both printed and online version.
Articles are published in Croatian or in English language. In accordance with the decision of the Editorial Board, titles, subtitles, titles and descriptions of figures/tables, keywords and extended summary at the end of each article, are printed both in English and Croatian language.
In case of such necessity, journal can be published as proceedings of domestic or international conferences i.e. publishing papers presented at the symposium.
All submitted manuscripts fitting within the Journal’s scope are undergoing a double-blind peer review process.
After accepting and preparing the final format of articles, papers are published online. Before issuing the printed version of NFM, articles from the section Early View will be page-numbered and published in the next issue of NFM.
The Open Access policy of the journal provides free access to full-text articles in pdf or html format.
No articles processing/publishing charge is applied.
Circulation of the journal includes 400 printed copies per issue. The extent of each number covers 8-12 articles on 80-120 A4 pages.
In accordance with the needs and the possibilities of the publisher, the number of issues in a year, and the extent and circulation of a particular issue can be increased or decreased.
Circulation of the journal is distributed by exchange with other journals, sale and subscription in country and abroad, donations and others.
All articles are prepared and published in accordance with the Guidelines for Authors, available on the website of the journal.
